Six SymbioCity Kenya Pilot towns and Counties are implementing Quick Wins, concrete small-scale solutions to local urban development challenges. These flyers explain what the initiatives are about.
How can the old market in Ontulili, Meru County be made a safer and more pleasant place to use for all the town’s residents? How can the banks of river Nyando be made a more attractive recreational space for the community?
These are some of the questions addressed through so called Quick Win projects, currently implemented in six small towns around Kenya. All initiatives have taken an integrated approach to sustainable urban development and emphasise community involvement.
