Today, together with Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner, SALAR International hosted a meeting of Team Sweden Smart Cities, a platform involving Swedish public and private actors which aims to strengthen coordination and initiatives concerning development and trade promotion in the field of sustainable urban development and smart cities.

The focus of today’s conversations was on Team Sweden Smart Cities’ draft strategy. For SALAR International’s part, the important role of Local and Regional Authorities, in Sweden and partner countries, in investments in growth and green transition was lifted. SALAR International’s Managing Director, Ryan Knox, shared some insights into the organisation’s engagements concerning the EU’s Global Gateway strategy.
